LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Set Visit Pt 1: First Glimpse! [VIDEO]

Marc Guggenheim then spotted us and came over to greet the fans. He put his phone call on hold to engage in some mutual gushing as we gave him a present for the Arrow writers, expressing our gratitude for the amazing work they all do. He replied “You guys are the best as without you this wouldn’t be happening”. He thanked each fan, accepting gifts, signing and posing for photos whilst balancing his phone in a supreme display of multi-tasking!

Before he went back to work we mentioned his nickname Guggie, which he loves, and his Olicity photobomb picture series “They’re great aren’t they?” Though that was all down to the Arrow production team. His great sense of humour and appreciation of fan support makes him even more loveable, and it was a wonderful surprise to get to meet him in person.

Shortly after the cast arrived, in wardrobe ready to shoot and looking spectacular, and soon we were watching the first scene ever of Legends being filmed. You may recognise it from the trailer. We could see the Legends following Rip Hunter as he looked out over the Waterfront – this was him supposedly introducing the team to Waverider their time-travelling ship, which will be added with CGI.

It was truly awesome seeing the team strutting across the park repeatedly – Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) and Sara Lance (Caity Lotz), Captain Cold and Heatwave (Dominic Purcell) in superhero get-up, Professor Stein, Kendra Saunders (Ciara Renee), Carter Hall (Falk Hentschel) and Rip Hunter. Together they certainly looked like a formidable crew. We also spotted Franz Drameh, though were oblivious to him being the new Firestorm at the time, with fans speculating he could be Wally West.
